According to police report, Tiger Woods was found sleeping in his car during the time of the arrest. The police had to wake him up when they approached his vehicle on Monday. According to the report, the police observed that Tiger had extremely slow and slurred speech and struggled with several roadside tasks.
Tiger Woods told the police that he was taking several prescriptions, including two painkillers. Tiger Woods was very cooperative with the police officers.
“I understand the severity of what I did, and I take full responsibility for my actions,” Woods said in the statement. “I want the public to know that alcohol was not involved. What happened was an unexpected reaction to prescribed medications. I didn’t realize the mix of medications had affected me so strongly.”
