About 271 years ago, one man painted every color imaginable in an 800 page book.

Before we had the Pantone color guide, there was no way to universally recognize colors. However, an artist known as A.Boogert, created an interesting piece of literature in 1692. He wrote an 800 page book on colors and mixing colors. The book was written in dutch and is one of the oldest books about colors. Check out some of the pictures below.
